40th Birthday Marks Turning Point

That is it – Strive to always 'Make A Difference' in the lives of those around you.

No4 - "I will look for the good in every situation." - This is basic optimism. 

Successful people who soar through life are those who are optimistic. 

They see the good, think the best and strive for greatness, believing all through that they will achieve it because it is possible.

Remember, nobody else can force you to have a bad attitude. Nobody else can force you to have a good attitude. It is simply a choice you make.

KNOW YOUR STRENGHTS AND WEAKNESSES: 

Knowing your strenghts and weaknesses is something that is very crucial in your business. You must hve heard about SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is nothing but the analysis of one's strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Every business has to do this analysis before commencing its business activities. This will place you in a better frame of mind and help you achieve your business goals with ease. You will require a number of skills to start and run a successful business. 

The skills needed can often include:

:

• management skills, including business planning and the ability to think long term 

• interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and network well to grow your business

• industry

NO2 ATTITUDE THAT WILL MAKE YOU SOAR~

"I AM GENEROUS." - Another attitude that will make you soar is to be a generous person. 

The discipline of generosity increases your likelihood of success for two main reasons:

One, you are happier about yourself and that puts you in a state of mind that is prepared for successful living.

Two, people pay back people who are generous. Generous people receive in kind, and being generous will raise you to levels yet unseen.

Learn to do something for and compliment people, not for any reward/money sake, just because they are part of humanity and they need love.

NO 1 ATTITUDE THAT WILL MAKE YOU SOAR

"I CAN." - This is the most basic of all attitudes. You simply must choose to believe that you can. 

Telling yourself that you can't, will in effect make it so you can't. 

But telling yourself that you can, will in effect enable you to achieve much more.

You can actually have this standard way of getting yourself off of the starting block by adopting this belief: - 

|| if somebody else has, then I too can. And if many others have, then surely I too can! I have to be smarter than at least one of those who has already done it. I have to be able to work harder than at least one other. There has to be at least one other person who has come from more difficult circumstances than I. And if they can do it then certainly, "Ican!" ||

1. LEAVE THE FUTURE FOR THE FUTURE, AND DEAL WITH THE PRESENT:
Do away with the question, “What should I be when I grow up?” is wrong. Instead, focus on the question “What is next today?” Growth is a gradual process, we become adults one bite at a time, not in a day. So let what you do today matter most to you.

2. SHOP AROUND:
Just think of you going to pick up a new dress, unless you try on the outfit, you’ll never know which one fits best. Do the same with vocations, hobbies, skills & ideas. The taste of the pudding is in the eating, you’ll need to sample every flavour to know your true favorite taste.

3. SAY YES TO YOUR PASSION:
Say yes to the things that intrigue you, instead of the ones that bore you. Go after your passion.

4. FIND A PROBLEM TO SOLVE:

It has observed that we cannot choose our circumstances, we can only choose our attitudes. 

It is good to know that I am not in charge of, or in control of all my circumstances. Because running the whole world would be a big responsibility. This dose of reality frees me to focus on what I can control--my attitude. 

Ultimately, it is our choice of what kind of attitude we have. Nobody else can force you to have a bad attitude. Nobody else can force you to have a good attitude. It is simply a choice you make.

So what kinds of attitudes make a difference?

ROLE PLAYING YOUR VISION TOWARDS ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS

Too many people dream of the life they want but are unable to put in place any plan of action to get that life. We all dream. Dreaming is the easy part, but how to change a dream into a vision - a vision that will propel us into that life?

Many successful people can role-play the life they want. They may not be where they want to be, but that doesn't stop them from acting out the life they want; the life they know, one day, they'll have. The ability to do this is important. Many of us are rational thinkers and know that we could make every aspect of our 'dreams' come true, but we take absolutely no action towards making any of them likely to happen.

We can all learn a lesson from watching children. All children learn about themselves and the life they're going to live through play. They simply play at being the person they want to be; a doctor, a teacher, a scientist, a mother. They use props around them to act out the life they going to have. They will show everyone around them, the husband they are going to marry, the car they're going to have, and the new worlds they'll be the first to discover. I'm not suggesting that we all revert to playing like children, however

THE MOST INTERESTING THING IN THE WORLD

I have yet to meet a bird that is afraid of flying because it has an inferiority complex.

I have yet to meet a flower that is reluctant to blossom because it is uncertain about the beauty of its color. 

I just imagine the sun hiding away because it feels like it is not sun enough to shine today.

Surprising as it is, I am sure there are many of us humans, reading this right now, doubting our sheer beauty. When you doubt your significance, you are actually doubting your very purpose of existence.

Setting up your own business is exciting, but can also be challenging if you’re not prepared. You may be thinking of starting a new business, or you may be looking to take over an existing business. Perhaps you have decided to turn your hobby into a business. 

The first and most important step to take before you start the business is to anaylise your business idea, to understand the differences between a business and a hobby and decide if you are aiming to run a business for fun or for value creation.  

Before you get started, think through your business concept and decide on your goals and objectives. Find out if there is a need for your products or services, and who are your competitors.

Research all aspects of your business idea by gathering, analysing and evaluating information, and then decide whether the market can sustain your business.
